Day 1: Welcome to Accra, Ghana

Settle in at your hotel.  Relax and enjoy the remainder of the day in the dynamic capital of Accra. Later attend our special Welcome Dinner event, complete with delicious local and Western food, Afrobeat's, and good vibes to get acquainted with the "The Island Travel Boutique" travel fam.  

Day 2: Visit Legendary Black Star Gate into Nightlife Experience 

Kick start your day with Breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for your visit to the legendary

Black Star Gate site and to capture the famous pose.

In the evening, we're heading out to experience Accra's nightlife (Optional).  

Day 3: W.E.B DuBois Center 

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the W.E.B DuBois Center.

Later, we move on to one of Accra's best kept secret beaches for a day of fun in the sun.  

Day 4: Shai Hills Half Day Accra Safari Hike & Animals View

Breakfast at the hotel, then prepare for a Half-Day Safari tour 

Day 5 Chill Day to visit beach 

Day 6 The Cape Coast Tour

Kick off the day with breakfast at the hotel. Followed by a Visit Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle and Kakum National Park on a full-day tour from Accra. You will get the opportunity to learn about the history of slavery in Ghana as you explore the slave castles that now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then follow a short hiking trails to a suspended canopy walkway at the Kakum National Park.

Day 7 Accra to Cape Coast

We are off to visiting the Historic Jamestown & Kwame Nkrumah Memorial to learn more about Ghanian history or opt for the *Optional tour to participate in the Accra to Cape Coast Naming Ceremony

Day 8: Accra, Ghana  

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the use of your room before checking out and transferring to the airport at the indicated time (usually 3/4 hours before your departure flight) for your flight.
