Rome & Florence
Discover Italy during this grand tour of Italy’s most iconic cities by train, from the Colosseum in Rome to the Renaissance
heritage of Florence and the romantic canals of Venice.
Rome is often referred to as the City of Seven Hills due to its geography, and also as the "Eternal City". Rome is generally considered to be one of the cradles of Western civilization and Western Christian culture, and the center of the Catholic Church.
Florence – the birthplace of the Renaissance! If you love Renaissance art and eating good food, Florence is definitely a top spot to visit! As the hub of Tuscany, Florence is between Venice and Rome, making it an easy stop from either jumping off point.
Venice, known also as the “City of Canals,” “The Floating City,” and “Serenissima,” is arguably one of Italy's most picturesque cities. With its winding canals, striking architecture, and beautiful bridges, Venice is a popular destination for travel.
Be up for train rides! It is considered the best way to travel through Italy is via train and our visit through major cities on speed railroad.
Entry into churches and religious establishments require a dress code. No shoulders or knees are allowed to show and you will need to bring a shawl or proper attire for entry.
We will be doing a lot of walking throughout the cities to visit popular spots and explore! The cities of Italy are mostly walkable or accessible via transport or ride share
We are visiting two cities in Italy, your flights will arrive in Rome and depart in Florence.
